Susan Smith Feaster, Founder and Chief Executive Officer



Susan Smith Feaster is Chief Executive Officer of Capitol Executive Partners, LLC a consulting firm with offices in Washington, DC, Paris and Monaco. Feaster brings more than 30 years of experience working with elected officials, foreign leaders, corporate and media executives.

 

Feaster currently serves as the CEO of Ryder Cup France 2018 US Partners Club. Responsible for the development and management of corporate partnerships between the US and France. Feaster is responsible for the corporate team's participation in Ryder Cup and French Golf Open activities for six years leading up to the Paris event in 2018. Purpose is to rebrand France as a "golf destination" to corporate leaders and golf enthusiasts worldwide and to build greater business alliances for corporations wanting to expand their business markets in France and the US.

 

Feaster also serves as President of the Monaco USA Business Roundtable.
The Monaco USA Association Business Roundtable's mission is to create opportunities to greater enhance commerce partnerships,international class sporting events, cultural and educational exchanges between the two countries. Honorary Chairman Mike Powers is the co-founder of the Monaco USA Business Roundtable along with Feaster who heads the initiative on a daily basis as President.


In 1976 Feaster received a Dupont Scholarship to enter the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Virginia. After receiving both B.A. and M.A. degrees in Telecommunications Policy in 1982 from the University of Virginia, Feaster began her career in the United States Senate on the staff of U.S. Senator Paul S. Trible, Jr. (R-Va). After several years on Senator Trible's staff, Feaster worked in the House of Representatives for Congressman Frank Wolf (R-Va). In 1986, Feaster became Vice President of Campaigns & Elections Magazine. Feaster traveled throughout the nation attending leadership events with Members of Congress, diplomats, governors, state legislators and mayors.

 

From 1989 to 2005, Feaster became a senior executive/consultant at three of Washington's premiere public affairs firms, Bonner & Associates, Dittus Communications and Qorvis Communications. As a senior executive for business development at these firms, Feaster worked with elected officials and diplomats as well as lobbyists, corporate executives representing Fortune 100's and trade associations. Feaster served as Managing Director, Washington Operations to Integrated Biometrics/PDA Technologies and was a Senior Consultant for the Healthcare Leadership Council. That year she also founded the World Leadership Institute where she serves in the role as CEO and Chairman of the Board. In 2007-2008 Feaster was Senior Vice President for AOL co-founder, Steve Case at Revolution Health to develop partnerships with major U.S. private and public sector employers. Feaster also served as the Executive Advisor to the Jamaican Ambassador to the US Audrey Marks.
